Valentine’s Day
Rupert's long-awaited day, planned with the smallest details, finally came. With Elisabeth, they’ve
been a couple for several years, and, with the passage of time, their love turned into a mature and
passionate love from youthful feeling. They were like two halves of an apple – they were looking in
the same way at life, they were seeing similar perspectives, and their bond seemed to be
indissoluble. Rupert made the decision about the proposal about half year earlier, but he decided
that he’d ask Elisabeth on a Valentine's Day. Not only because it was a feast of lovers and the only
special day like this in the year, but they had met each other just on February 14 years ago at a cafe.
The proposal was to take place exactly at the Cafe - with the background of a romantic dinner.
However, before we get to the final and find out if Elisabeth has agreed to become Rupert's wife,
let’s return to the hectic preparations of the red-haired young man who loved her so much…

On that day everything had to be as close to perfection as possible! Rupert wanted so much to
everything went on his way. He went to the jeweler to buy an engagement ring for his beloved in
the morning. His choice has fallen on a model made of gold, richly decorated with a bright eye
surrounded by the shiny, tiny diamonds. He had a great hope Elisabeth would like it. She loved
white and gold, which is why our hero was convinced that the chosen ring would be the right one.
Wrapped in a creamy box, the ring has landed in Rupert's pocket when he left the jeweler's salon.

Flowers - it was the next thought which appeared in Rupert's mind right after choosing an
engagement ring. Our hero went to a florist, where the richness of various plants and flowers wasn’t
helpful with choosing a particular gift for his beloved - Rupert couldn’t decide which flowers to
choose. He finally decided to purchase tulips because he remembered Elisabeth saying that he loved
them. The girl also loved roses, but this time Rupert chose flowers that she had never received from
him before. Well, in the end, it was supposed to be a special day, and therefore an unique present!
The bouquet of red tulips looked very beautiful. Elisabeth won’t only be surprised, but also
delighted - Rupert thought proudly and left the florist, smiling dreamily.

Part of the Valentine's plan was already realised. The dinner arrangement was only one what
remained, which atmosphere was to be romantic and sentimental. And the engagement dinner was
supposed to be also tasty, of course! According to the perfection’s idea, which guided Rupert,
organizing this special evening, every detail, even the one on the plate, was to be teed up. That's
why Rupert chose a chocolate cake with strawberry filling and cream-strawberry ice cream - these
were, of course, Elisabeth's favorite sweets.

Rupert was ahead of time to see if everything was clearly prepared at the Cafe. He also brought a
bouquet of red tulips that had been bought earlier. He put flowers in a vase and looked carefully at
the whole tableware. In addition to the sweets mentioned above, appetizing looking strawberries in
bowls also appeared on the table. High candles intensified the dominant, romantic mood. The whole
dish was kept in red - the color of love and passion.

The sky has started to getting darker, and the music playing by crickets came from the distance.
Rupert was looking in suspense for his beloved. A special moment, so long awaited by him, has
come. The redheaded young man was looking around for Elisabeth. I hope she say yes; I hope she
agree to become my wife – such whispers were in his mind. Rupert loved Elisabeth with all his
heart and couldn't imagine life without her. He wanted to spend every day with her, every moment...
She was his whole world.
He suddenly stood up, agitated. Elisabeth's blond hair appeared around the corner. The shiny hair
waved with every her step, rising, falling down and lifting up again. Rupert couldn't take his eyes
off her - she was so beautiful! She came to him, greeted him with hug and kiss, and the sweet scent
of her perfumes, which he adored so much, wrapped him. This scent reminded him only his
beautiful Elisabeth.
The couple sat at the table. The girl was delighted with the decor, sweets on the table, the
atmosphere - the whole arrangement of Valentine's dinner Rupert was happy to see the joy on his
beloved's face. Being impressed, Elisabeth noticed Rupert was a little different than usual. He spoke
with ease and lightness, but in his attitude one could read a new emotion. The boy noticed the girl
was watching him and he felt that the time had come for a special moment of Valentine's evening.
With bated breath, he knelt in front of Elisabeth and, holding flowers in one hand, and in the other
hand a box of engagement ring, he looked deeply into the eyes of his beloved. He saw emotion in
them. Girl's glazed eyes were looking at him with an expression of powerful love - it was incredible
how such a little creature could contain such a great feeling! It was seconds, but it seemed like time
had stretched and stopped in place.
Rupert took a deep breath and, still staring at Elisabeth with an intense, emotional expression, he
asked if she would do him the honor of becoming his wife. As soon as he said the last word, tears
fell down the girl's cheeks, in which had gathered everything what couldn't be expressed in words.
Elisabeth whispered "yes" with emotion and threw herself upon her lover's neck. The couple
drowned in a passionate kiss, laughing and crying with happiness. Tired by strong emotions, they
knew that it was the happiest moment of their life...

Happy Valentine's Day wishes you Miniza! <3

Christmas – a time when reflection and tradition come together
It's here! The first star appeared in the night sky when the doorbell rang. Charles, dressed in an
elegant suit, shelved a book, which he was reading while he was waiting for his guests. He got up
from the armchair and went to the corridor to open the door and greet his loved ones. Walking down
the stairs, he felt a pleasant warmth in his heart at the thought of seeing the family. The jeweler
didn't see his sister and her husband for the whole year! Christmas Eve is a time spent with loved
ones, a time full of reflection and tradition handed down from generation to generation... Let's start

the stairs, he felt a pleasant warmth in his heart at the thought of seeing the family. The jeweler
didn't see his sister and her husband for the whole year! Christmas Eve is a time spent with loved
ones, a time full of reflection and tradition handed down from generation to generation... Let's start
from the beginning, that is, from Christmas preparations.

Twelve-dish Christmas Eve supper

Twelve apostles, twelve months in a year - this is what twelve Christmas Eve dishes symbolize on a
Christmas table covered with a white tablecloth. The hay can be found under the tablecloth. The
candle, that is a symbol of life, hope and love, can't be missing on the Christmas Eve table
Additional empty cover is meant for an unexpected wanderer who should be let in because a guest
in the house is a God in the house. The empty place at the table also commemorates people who sat
together with us for Christmas Eve supper in past. Now, we can only feel their presence when they
are staring down on us and observing during the supper.

Christmas preparations
Jeweler Charles started Christmas preparations with morning shopping. As soon as he woke up, ate
breakfast and drank a delicious cup of coffee, he went to Laouree Confectionery. The shelves seems
to be going to break under the richness of cakes and cookies in the shop! Colorful sweet baked
goods attracted the eye. The interior was decorated with class and a charming accent. Every
customer wanted to stay in this cozy place for a longer time...

After shopping at Laouree Confectionery, Charles went to a small shop with Christmas decorations.
The Christmas Eve atmosphere was meant to be seen not only on the table, but Christmas accents
should fill the whole house. Preparations for the holidays allowed to relax from busy everyday life
and pay attention to details - the key to happiness and joy was in the smallest elements of life. The
Christmas Shop was beautifully decorated and full of various items. Christmas garlands, angels,
baubles, gingerbreads, santas, flowers could be found there... The jeweler enjoyed the sight of these
tiny elements that were about to decorate the interior of his tenement.

Christmas decorations
Christmas is a time full of love and reflection. In this unique day of the year, each element should
spread the good news and accentuate the celebrated holiday. Christmas decorations emphasize the
Christmas atmosphere in our home, introducing a cozy and warm atmosphere to the interiors.

In the Charles jeweler's house, we can find Christmas table decorations, door and window garlands,
beautifully dressed Christmas tree, which is a symbol of Christ, as a source of eternal life, and
stockings hanging by the fireplace. All these details seem to be emanating warmth and love,
introducing the Christmas atmosphere. They accentuate the magic of Christmas, enhancing its
uniqueness by decorating the space in which we live.

Charles didn't forget to decorate the tenement house from the outside - the Christmas facade stood
out from the other houses, and all its small elements seemed to be spreading the good news of the
birth of Jesus. The Christmas front door garland and a wreath with a red bow were stunning – it
took a lot of time and work to jeweler to make them perfect - and the red Porsche complemented the
Christmas arrangement with its color.

Poland's traditional Christmas Eve dishes and baked goods
Among the traditional Christmas cakes you will find, for example, gingerbread, poppyseed cake and
cheesecake. Of course, other sweets can also appear on the table. Christmas Eve is the time of
fasting, that's why fishes are served instead of meat. Among the twelve traditional dishes you will
find: red borsch with dumplings, dumplings with cabbage and mushrooms, herring, carp, kutia,
dried fruit compote, Christmas cabbage with peas, mushroom soup, poppy seed dumplings,
previously mentioned sweet pastries and bread - a symbol of new life and well-being.

Christmas gifts
When all the dishes were ready and all he had to do was wait for the first star to appear in the sky,
Charles began to pack Christmas presents in colorful paper for his belowed ones. He felt joy in his
heart that he could give them something from himself. Finally, after a whole year of waiting, the
moment came and they could see each other and spend Christmas together.

Christmas-Eve supper
Christmas Eve dinner begins with the appearance of the first star in the sky. Then the whole family
share a special wafer to each other during exchanging Christmas wishes of health and prosperity in
the upcoming year. This special day brings love, goodness and family warmth to the hearts of the
household members who sit together at the table. After sharing the wafer, the family start the supper
from the red borscht with dumplings. When the dinner comes to an end, the most anticipated by the
children moment of the evening is coming - unpacking Christmas presents.

Every Christmas are unique, and for jeweler Charles, this was just special. Preparations allowed
him to spend time on his own and take a look on his life from a distance - where he is going, what
drives him, how he feels about it... Christmas is a time that gives the opportunity to find answers to
questions that we don't hear clearly in everyday life, but which are and expect our attention. These
special and unique moments of the year were spent by the jeweler in the family circle with his loved
ones, sharing with them worries and joys, building new memories that create an invisible bond
between one and anoher human being...

Visiting the Hans-Peter Porsche TraumWerk Museum in Anger, a museum of toys and toy railway models
Part of the world in a tiny scale in which things are running... Where seasons change, roosters crow at the dawn in miniature villages, airplanes fly on the blue sky, and fireworks can be heard somewhere in the distance...

This monumental world of Hans-Peter Porsche toys was previously kept at home located near Salzburg - the models occupied
the entire basement and attic of his home, exactly 450 collector's boxes!

The land of Salzburg has always captivated me, that's why I spent with my husband several days in Austria this summer. The weather was good, except for one day, when it disappointed us on Saturday and we had to find some alternative to spend free time. Right next to Salzburg, we encountered a small town called Anger, located in Germany. The impressive modern architecture building in which the Hans-Peter Porsche TraumWerk Museum was located dominated in front of us. My heart stole the museum of toys and toy railway models, which were also there.

Part of the world in a tiny scale in which things are running... Where seasons change, roosters crow at the dawn in miniature villages, and airplanes fly on the miniature blue of the sky, fireworks can be heard somewhere in the distance...

The miniatures haven't been made in scale of 1:12, but they were impressive anyway! Little things made with the highest precision - I admire people who put their energy and took their time to make all these miniatures I was capable to see. All miniatures are a collection, which Hans-Peter Porsche decided to show the world and opened a musuem with the help of his son. This monumental world of Hans-Peter Porsche toys was previously kept at home located near Salzburg - the models occupied the entire basement and attic of his home, exactly 450 collector's boxes!

Every effort was made to bring the minatures to life, which is why the visitors could watch snow-capped mountains and skiers on the slopes as well as autumnal golden alleys. The exhibitions were designed by the Berlin architect Volker Staab. The first part includes cars, airplanes, railway stations; the second - train models; in the following parts of the exhibition you will find steam engines, submarines, ships and older cars.

I recommend Muzuem TraumWerk to all, regardless of age. This fabulous place, good for both large and small ones, offers a wide range of attractions, from the museum of toys, toy railway models to the Porsche museum. This is the perfect proposition to spend free time together for whole family!
